Ok so while out at the Slate bar Friday night me and Dave thought it might be a good idea to climb a mountain the next day. So we did. Mount Mangerton. It is very close to the MacGillycuddy's Reeks and has a great view of the three lakes in Killarney on one side and Kenmare on the other.






Mangerton is the 25th highest mountain in Ireland(839 metres) but its height is only 200 metres less than the tallest mountain Carrauntoohil (visible from Mangerton). I also climbed Carrauntoohil years ago when I was in 4th class.
